Compliance Slides

Compliance slides are designed to aid in providing proof of compliance with aged care accreditation guidelines. By displaying the following slides, you are demonstrating your understanding of and commitment to the specific criteria as specified by the guidelines.

One compliance slide is shown each rotation. Thus, if four compliance slides have been sent to output, compliance slide 1 will be shown on the first rotation, compliance slide 2 will be shown on the second rotation etc until compliance Slide 1 is shown again on the fifth rotation and so on.

Evacuation Points.

These slides can be text or image slides. They can be scans of fire evacuation diagrams, or text based descriptions of where the evacuation points are located. Optionally, photos of evacuation points can be shown with a title describing the relevant location. Its vitally important that all people within a facility, whether they are residents, staff, visitors or contractors, know at all times where the nearest evacuation point is located.

Our Resident Charter.

These slides are text based and provide a statement as to how residents are treated and cared for. This is important for visitors to know and is also a reminder to staff as to the standards they are expected to achieve in the performance of their duties.

Complaints Handling Procedure.

These slides are text based and provide relevant information to everyone within the facility as to how they can report an issue or problem, whether it be to the facility operator or government regulator. Aged Care Operators are required to provide clear information to all relevant parties as to how issues, problems or concerns can be reported.

Staff Profiles.

In order to promote an open, honest and inclusive culture, its vitally important that residents and their families know who is looking after them, cooking their meals and looking after the gardens etc. Staff profile slides contain a portrait photo of the staff member along with five lines of text describing the staff member’s name, years of service, role, qualifications and interests.

Reminder To Sign-In and Sign-Out.

Whenever visitors or contractors attend site, they must sign-in and and sign-out each time. These slides are a gentle reminder to all visitors as to their responsibilities, and demonstrate that the facility is pro-active in ensuring attendance books (and thus quantity of people on site) are accurate and up to date.
